Education

My Background

I began my educational career in the public K-12 system as a special education teacher. In that role I primarily worked with subject matter experts to facilitate learning experiences for students using synchronous and asynchronous instruction. As my career progressed and my role in the K-12 education system changed, I discovered eLearning and adult learning theory. To continue my professional learning I attended various workshops about eLearning and went on to pursue a Master’s Degree in Instructional Design and Technology.
